SC MONTHLY ACCOUNTABILITY CHECK-IN FOUNDERS IN RESIDENCE GUIDE
Access to successful founders is the glue that helps support these earlier stage founders through some of the most challenging stages of company building. Our monthly accountability check-ins are structured to allow cohort members to update the group on their personal and professional highs/lows and troubleshoot friction points. Our FIR's often join in these conversations providing guidance, support, and yes, accountability along the way.
Typical session structure:
FIR's typically join for the first 90 minutes of the session with the option to stay for the entire session (about 4-hours) as well as lunch. The first 60-70 min will be time for the group to introduce themselves to you and provide their monthly updates to each other. That's a great way for you to get to know them a little better and for you to engage with them or offer advice throughout the updates.
After that, FIR's have an opportunity to share their personal and startup journey including any areas in business you especially love. We finish with Q&A, but they generally need to get a sense of the parts of business you especially love or have experienced to get that going. We'll have 30-40 minutes for this section.
It's comfortably structured to stay on schedule while still allowing for free-flowing conversations. We typically close with lunch which you are welcomed to join and continue conversations.
Please take a few minutes to familiarize with the founders you will be meeting with including background on their companies below. This will help elevate the conversations and connections made during the session. If you need any additional information on a particular company or on the session itself, do not hesitate to reach out.
